Apple Acquires Sleep Analyzing Company

"Apple Inc. already tracks your steps and fitness levels, and now it wants to analyze your sleep. 

"The Cupertino, California-based technology giant has acquired Beddit, a maker of sleep-tracking hardware and software, according to a message on the closely held Finland-based company's website."

I doubt Apple wants to sell you a $150 band that you have to attach to your bed. That said, I think this acquisition foreshadows future improvements to the Apple Watch. With the right updates to battery life and charging technology, the Apple Watch could become an ideal tool for tracking more health-related data like sleep.
