Three. Two. One. Go.
Three. Two. One. Go. Today began my post-collegiate career. I'm now an official HP employee. I spent the day filling out forms, creating accounts, making passwords, standing in line for my ID, asking for help, getting lost, meeting people and learning how things work within my team and without. On the whole it was a great day.
I've had two pretty big beginnings in the last 24 hours. I've launched my career and my blog—two things that I intend to continue for a very long time. Beginnings like these can be scary, but they never seem to live up to the hype. The hard part is taking the first step.
We all have dreams that we wish we could live, goals we hope to fulfill, and ideas we would love to see implemented. The question is will we do them? I don't know, but what I do know is
nobody will go anywhere without taking the first step.
Of course, in order to live out our dreams, thousands of steps must follow that first one and many of those will be difficult. But with each step you make it that much closer to the goal. My encouragement for you is to take that step, start that business, begin writing that book, go ahead with developing that app. If you never start, it'll never get done.
